Minyip-Murtoa player Nick Hudson out for season

WFL logo a
Minyip-Murtoa reserves footballer Nick Hudson will spend the rest of the season on the sidelines after an AFL Victoria Country Appeals Board ruling.
Hudson was initially suspended for six weeks by an AFL Wimmera-Mallee independent tribunal after pleading guilty to carelessly making contact with the head of Horsham footballer James Davidson during a match on June 1. Horsham appealed the verdict, arguing the ban was too lenient.
At a meeting on Thursday the appeals board decided to ban Hudson for the remainder of the season, including finals.
A police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
