Nhill nursing home sporting new art

TRADITIONAL ART: The walls of Nhill’s Iona Digby Harris Nursing Home are sporting a brand new piece of artwork courtesy of one of the home’s residents.
Norma Long creates unique, striking artworks, many of which are for sale.
West Wimmera Health Service chief executive Ritchie Dodds said Ms Long’s creation was an excellent way to help the service acknowledge traditional owners of the land during National Reconciliation Week. He said the service was committed to increasing cultural awareness and understanding through continual learning, practising respect and sensitivity, and taking further steps to improve the access of services for all with the actions of a new diversity plan.
Mr Dodds is pictured with Ms Long and her artwork.
